Off to Dharamsala

I’m going to Dharamsala to volunteer in a clinic for Women and Children.  The woman who organized the trip, and is teaching classes, is Soma Glick, L.Ac., an acupuncturist who has been practicing for years in Bali, Indonesia, at Bumi Sehat.  I volunteered at Bumi Sehat in 2006 for 3 months.  On the last day in clinic, I met Soma and knew I wanted to study/work with her in the future.  And that time has finally arrived.

I will be doing acupuncture on women and children, as well as learning new techniques I will bring back to enliven my practice, my patients, and myself.  And, since Dharamsala is the home of the Dalai Lama, I hope to meet the Dalai Lama in person.  (Fingers crossed!)

Follow me on my blog through India.  I will be traveling with Nicole Fugo, L.Ac., who was apprenticing with me and who has kindly and generously organized all of the travel plans.  Thank you Nicole!!
